La roue de classification, en rotation \u00e0 grande vitesse, cr\u00e9e une forte force centrifuge pour s\u00e9parer la poudre grossi\u00e8re et fine. La poudre fine qualifi\u00e9e passe \u00e0 travers la pale de la roue puis dans le cyclone ou le filtre \u00e0 sac, tandis que la poudre grossi\u00e8re entra\u00eenant la fine perd de sa vitesse et tombe le long du mur de la chambre jusqu'\u00e0 l'entr\u00e9e de l'air secondaire. Le flux d'air secondaire la dispersera davantage et s\u00e9parera la poudre grossi\u00e8re et fine. La poudre fine monte dans la chambre de classification pour un tri suppl\u00e9mentaire, tandis que la poudre grossi\u00e8re tombe et sera \u00e9vacu\u00e9e par la sortie
